Job Details
The candidate will support manufacturing engineering services across aerospace vehicle programs, interfacing directly with the customer's technical teams and leads. This role involves analyzing and redlining 2D design configurations, drawings, and 3D models in PTC Creo in accordance with ASME Y14.5 standards. The candidate will work closely with the customer design engineering team to support functional production models and create design packages that enable successful functional and integrated testing. A successful candidate will be highly self-directed, detail-oriented, organized, and able to operate effectively and professionally in a dynamic design environment with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
Expertise in PTC Creo (parametric modeling, assembly design, drawing creation and editing); ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, and specifications; ability to create and redline 2D engineering drawings and 3D models from the customer in PTC Creo in compliance with ASME Y14.5 standards; familiarity with Model-Based Definition (MBD) practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to coordinate with a multidisciplinary team and interface professionally with customers in high-stress environments, always maintaining constructive and solutions-oriented dialogue
Experience in troubleshooting Creo user issues and providing Creo support to other design staff
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Desired Qualifications
Familiarity with Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE), assembly tooling, or manufacturing equipment
Experience developing build instructions, work orders, or manufacturing documentation
