Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Tech for an established company in the Alachua, FL area who will perform in a heavy production environment, assembling large and heavy parts using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment. Candidates with automotive or complex assembly experience are encouraged to apply.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 6:30am to 3pm

Payrate: $19-24/hr depending on experience

Job Duties of the Mechanical Assembly Tech:

• Review specifications to determine assembly and special options.
• Check bins for adequate supplies
• Ensure connections for correct fit, parts, and sub-assemblies per specifications
• Follow detailed instructions for assembly of industrial products.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Skills and Qualifications of the Mechanical Assembly Tech:

• Experience and ability to read blueprints preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work within a non-climate controlled environment.
