The Position:

The Professional Land Surveyor will perform a wide range of land surveying functions on projects throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.

  • Interacting with clients and co-workers to determine surveying scope of services to develop a proposal.

  • Researching public records to determine existing property boundaries, easements and other property related land surveying information.

  • Perform a wide range of land surveys including boundary, topographical and utility surveys and construction surveying.

  • Prepare land division instruments and survey basemaps using AutoCAD Civil3D.

  • Direct and review construction staking setup activities.

  • Coordinate land survey requirements (tasks, duties, budgets, schedules, etc.) with internal team members and provide assistance to complete required tasks.

  • Mentor survey field staff to ensure best practices are followed.

Requirements:

  • Professional Land Surveyors License with ability to obtain a license in Wisconsin, Michigan or Illinois after being hired.

  • 3+ years of prior experience as a land surveying crew chief.

  • Land division and boundary resolution experience.

  • Must be a reliable, efficient self-starter with initiative and a sense of responsibility.

  • Strong communication and time-management skills are required.

  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.

  • Position is located in either Greenville, WI or Waukesha, WI, with frequent travel anticipated (minimal overnight stays).
