Role Overview
A growth-oriented biopharmaceutical organization is seeking an experienced Corporate Account Manager (CAM) to support the launch of an oncology therapy. This role focuses on managing strategic oncology accounts and engaging senior decision-makers responsible for formulary, financial, and protocol decisions. The CAM will work cross‑functionally to ensure strong launch execution and sustained account performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Leadership: Lead regional and enterprise account planning and cross‑functional coordination
Account Planning & Execution: Develop and execute account strategies, including customer mapping and call planning
Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with practice administrators, pharmacy leadership, P&T members, executives, and HCPs
Formulary & Access Support: Deliver value‑based information to support formulary access and coverage decisions
Contract & Pull‑Through Coordination: Support contract execution and local pull‑through in collaboration with internal partners
Market & Reimbursement Expertise: Apply knowledge of oncology billing, reimbursement, buy‑and‑bill, and GPO dynamics
Market Intelligence: Share insights on customer needs and changes in the oncology landscape
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with field colleagues to ensure aligned account support
CRM, Compliance & Administration: Utilize CRM tools and complete all reporting and compliance activities accurately
Experience and Skills
Industry Experience: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 5+ years of documented success in corporate or enterprise account roles
Oncology Expertise: Experience with integrated oncology networks, complex hospitals, and health systems
Market Access Knowledge: Understanding of pathways, formularies, reimbursement, and GPO contracting
Business Review Leadership: Experience leading or supporting Quarterly Business Reviews
Stakeholder Access: Established relationships with senior oncology decision‑makers
Product Launch Experience: Oncology launch experience preferred, including injectable therapies
Education: Bachelor's degree required
Travel: Ability to travel extensively
Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: $170,000 - $190,000 (commensurate with experience)
Incentives: Annual bonus and long‑term incentive plan
