Automotive Mechanic (Post Production), 2nd shift - $4,000 - $6,000 Bonus

Job Summary
We’re looking for automotive mechanics with a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience to join us at Carvana.
Responsibilities
Perform a full range of automotive repairs—from light maintenance to heavy engine work—including general to complex repairs on all makes and models, ranging from timing belts and suspension systems to heavy engine work.
Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles.
Complete repairs for wheel bearings, axles, and vehicle climate control systems, including ACs and heater cores.
Work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing production environment, sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
Use safety equipment and personal protective equipment such as face shield, goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Perform light maintenance, fluid checks, and conduct initial inspections on vehicles to look for any imperfections or repairs needed during reconditioning (entry‑level roles).
Change brakes and tires (brake and tire technician roles).
Participate in mandatory overtime as required by business needs.
Qualifications
Physical ability to operate vehicle equipment and tools—must lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. Some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing production environment while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
Use safety equipment and personal protective equipment such as face shield, goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay ranges:
Technician 2: $26/hr - $34/hr
Technician 3: $33/hr - $41/hr
