Helix Creator

As a Helix Creator, you wear specialized sensor equipment and perform guided, human-like motions to help train advanced AI and robotics systems. You play a key role in collecting high-quality motion data, identifying issues during testing, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace in a fast-paced production and lab environment.
Responsibilities

Wear sensor equipment and perform precise, human-like motions to guide robots through defined movement patterns.
Collect accurate, high-quality motion data used to train AI and robotics models.
Carefully follow data collection procedures and document activities as required.
Flag any issues, bugs, or irregularities encountered during motion capture and testing.
Provide clear, daily feedback to the team on system performance, equipment behavior, and data collection processes.
Use computer systems and basic software tools to support data entry, testing, and data collection tasks.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in the production and lab environment.
Stay focused and on task during repetitive work, ensuring consistent performance and reliability.
Collaborate with a team of engineers and other specialists to support continuous improvement of AI and robotics systems.
Essential Skills

Strong computer skills, including the ability to work comfortably with basic software tools.
Experience with data entry and accurate documentation of activities.
Familiarity with testing processes and following structured procedures.
Comfort with data collection tasks in a production or lab environment.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity software.
Familiarity with electronics and computer systems.
Excellent physical coordination and body control to perform precise, repeatable motions.
Strong spatial awareness and the ability to understand and replicate movement patterns.
Ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks and follow instructions consistently.
Willingness to embrace constructive feedback and apply it to improve performance.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changes.

Experience working in a production, lab, or technical testing environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, CA.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
