Lead Qualified Clinician
Location: Massachusetts (North Adams, Pittsfield, Amherst)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 annually, $3000 sign on bonus
About the Role
UCP of Western Massachusetts is seeking a Lead Qualified Clinician to provide clinical support to adults with autism and developmental disabilities receiving family support services. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact and we are looking for someone motivated about building clinical practices and competencies. A large component of this role is supporting the Positive Behavior Support Initiative coming from the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS).Note: If you are in the process of obtaining your Massachusetts license within the next 6 months and meet the experiential requirements, you are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct clinical services, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), Positive Behavioral Support (PBS) interventions, crisis support, and training for staff and families.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and attend Individualized Support Plan (ISP) meetings.
Develop and monitor PBS plans and ensure compliance with DDS regulations.
Provide proactive in-service training and act as a resource for staff on clinical challenges.
Serve as a certified PABC instructor and implement emergency techniques as needed.
Foster collaborative relationships with DDS and community partners.
Maintain accurate documentation in UCP’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
