Business Development Manager (Packaging - Custom)
Package
€60 - 80k + Company Car + Fuel Card + Bonus
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Flemish market, with a strong focus on new customer acquisition and market expansion
Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients in premium, cosmetics, consumer products, confectionery, and beverages (both SMEs and multinationals)
Analyze the market, spot opportunities, and convert them into valuable contracts by offering tailor‑made, high‑quality packaging solutions
Act as a problem solver: provide technical advice, develop customized solutions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, quality, and service
Work closely with internal production and innovation teams to align offerings with market needs and contribute to the development of new products and services
Manage commercial activities efficiently and provide regular reporting to the Sales Director
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in a commercial/B2B sales role, with a proven track record in new business development and selling customized industrial solutions
Strong commercial drive combined with technical insight and the ability to quickly develop in a high‑quality industrial B2B environment
Fluent in Dutch, with good working knowledge of French and English
Experience selling Folding Cartons, Labels, Rigid Boxes, Advent Calendars or Promotional Packaging
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills
Entrepreneurial mindset, customer‑oriented approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
