Sun group of companies distributes produce locally, internationally and services the cruise ships industry for over 20+ years!
Sun City has an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of drivers as a Yard Jockey Driver for the Warehouse/Distribution Center in Pompano Beach, FL. We are looking for hard working individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Job Summary:
The Yard Jockey Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving trailers between yard and warehouse dock doors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate mule to move cargo trailer
Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance to maintain operation of mule
Ability to read and interpret operating and procedural manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
Able to receive, understand, and execute instructions via radio to accommodate logistical needs
Minimum Requirements:
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) class A with clean record
1 year of tractor trailer driving experience
Clean MVR
Ability to meet all state and Federal DOT regulations
Must be able to follow all company guidelines
Must pass all drug/alcohol screenings
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, two-wheel hand truck
Ability to work independently with little supervision in a team environment
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Nearly all work is performed outdoors; must be able to perform duties in all weather conditions
Use repetitive motions, using upper and lower extremities, mount and dismount equipment
The position may require the driver to sit for prolonged periods of time while operating the mule
