Assistant Manager Store Design

PURPOSE
As Assistant Manager Store Design, you help bring the adidas brand to life across full price and outlet stores in North America. This role supports the creation of inspiring retail spaces through thoughtful design, clear documentation, and close collaboration with partners. From early concepts to construction, your work helps translate brand vision into high quality physical environments delivered with precision and consistency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Create 2D and 3D drawings, models, and presentation materials that support new and remodeled store concepts

Prepare schematic design and hand off packages that move projects smoothly into execution

Contribute to the evolution of retail design standards across the North America market

Research materials and develop finish boards, mockups, and studies aligned with brand direction

Partner with architecture, construction, merchandising, and operations teams to ensure design solutions support real world retail needs

Coordinate with external architects, consultants, and vendors to maintain alignment with design standards

Incorporate feedback from cross functional partners into refined design documentation

Support internal presentations and project updates for a wide range of stakeholders

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality work within deadlines

Experience collaborating across diverse teams and functions

Proficiency with architectural and 3D design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar platforms

Strong understanding of architectural documentation and detailing

Clear written and verbal communication skills

REQUISITE EXPERIENCE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

At least two years of experience in retail design, retail construction, or a related environment

Degree in architecture, interior architecture, environmental design, or a related field, or an equivalent mix of education and hands on experience

Comfort alternating between sitting and standing throughout the workday

Hybrid work model with in office collaboration Monday through Thursday and remote flexibility on Fridays when appropriate

Ability to travel up to 10 percent
