Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Pediatric Practice Full-time/ Part-time On-Site No nights - No weekends - No hospital shifts
FIG Health Pediatrics is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing, multi-specialty pediatric practice. This role is ideal for a compassionate, organized, and team-oriented nurse who enjoys working in an outpatient pediatric setting and values quality, efficiency, and patient-centered care.
Our practice is designed to support both families and staff. We maintain a thoughtfully paced schedule with extended appointment times to ensure excellent care delivery in a calm, low-stress environment.

FIG Health Pediatrics is a highly regarded pediatric group serving infants, children, and adolescents in Connecticut. Our flagship office is located in Glastonbury, CT, in a newly renovated, state-of-the-art facility.
We provide a full spectrum of pediatric services, including:
Preventive and well-child care
Acute and chronic illness management
Minor procedures
IBCLC
We are actively expanding and seeking dedicated professionals who want to grow with us.
Our providers and staff are affiliated with Connecticut Children’s Medical Center (CCMC), Yale and UConn, and several providers hold faculty appointments. We do not round in hospitals, and all after-hours calls are triaged by a dedicated pediatric answering service.
Key Responsibilities
The Licensed Practical Nurse will support providers and patients by delivering high-quality clinical care, including:
Rooming patients, growth parameters, and medical histories
Preparing patients for examinations and assisting providers during visits and procedures
Administering immunizations and medications in accordance with state regulations and practice protocols
Performing point-of-care testing and specimen collection
Providing patient and parent education on medications, immunizations, and care plans
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Ensuring exam rooms are stocked, clean, and properly prepared
Collaborating closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and administrative staff
Qualifications
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Connecticut
Previous experience in pediatrics or outpatient clinical settings preferred
Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced but well-structured environment
Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented approach to patient care
