Our client, a leading organization in the transportation industry, is seeking a Event Planner to join their team. As a Event Planner, you will be part of the Marketing Department supporting the Events and Exhibitions team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Event Planner
Location: Greensboro, NC (Onsite)
Pay Range: $25
What's the Job?
Develop and manage comprehensive event and exhibition plans, including in-person and digital formats
Coordinate all aspects of events such as site selection, contract negotiations, and promotional activities
Collaborate with external agencies and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution
Oversee logistics including transportation, catering, audiovisual support, and materials shipping
Review sponsorship opportunities to enhance company exposure and engagement
What's Needed?
At least 4 years of experience in marketing communications, event planning, or related fields
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Experience within the hospitality and trade show industry preferred
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
