Qualifications
Core Requirements
Career-focused individual prepared to dedicate the time, energy, and focus required to grow with Athena VII
In a life stage and financial position that supports performance-based, commission-driven income growth
Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute events or related initiatives
Strong marketing instincts, including social media engagement and content development
Leadership mindset with excellent customer service and a willingness to take on multiple roles as needed
Proficiency in Microsoft 365; design tools such as Canva, Illustrator, or Photoshop are a plus
Additional Skills & Experience Valued
Event Planning / Coordination – Weddings, corporate events, community gatherings, or similar
Marketing & Social Media Management – Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, digital signage
Content Creation – Photography, videography, and branded visual design
Sales & Client Relations – Selling event packages and building long-term relationships
Vendor Coordination – Managing caterers, entertainers, decorators, and technical teams
Technical / AV Familiarity – Live sound, basic troubleshooting, and event support systems
Financial Awareness – Budgeting, cost control, and profitability tracking
Coffee / Barista Experience – Espresso drinks, café workflow, and customer flow
Hospitality Background – Restaurants, bars, catering, or similar service environments
Food Service Experience – Kitchen operations, menu execution, or culinary training
This role is best suited for someone who is mentally and professionally ready to focus deeply, commit long hours, and take ownership in building something meaningful and rewarding.
The position demands consistent execution, ownership of results, and the ability to prioritize this work above other competing commitments. It is not suited for those seeking a casual, part-time, or highly flexible engagement. Candidates should be in a position to fully invest themselves in the growth of the role and the success of Athena VII’s community initiatives.
Additional Information
Compensation Structure
This role is built around performance and growth, with uncapped commissions tied directly to event volume and profitability. A $1,000/month base is provided as a foundation while you build momentum, with the primary income opportunity coming from the value you create and scale over time. Candidates should be prepared for a ramp‑up period and be in a financial position that allows them to focus on building the role without relying on immediate full income replacement.
Income Potential
Early Stage: $1,000–$3,000/month while building pipeline and initial events
Growth Phase: $55K–$60K+ annually as recurring events and higher-value bookings are established
This structure is designed for individuals who are able to invest the time and focus required during the early phase in order to reach sustained, performance-driven income growth.
High performers who take ownership of the role and consistently execute should reach the growth phase within approximately 6–12 months.
