Job Title and Location Events Management Senior Associate – Los Angeles, CA
Job Description As an Events Management Senior Associate on the Private Bank Events team, you will create and execute client events from concept through evaluation.
You’ll develop event strategy, manage budgets, coordinate vendors, oversee staffing, and ensure a consistent brand experience for clients across the Southern California market.
You will also collaborate with global events staff, marketing, bankers, and product partners to align events with business objectives and manage local/regional and occasionally global events.
Responsibilities
Understand business objectives and develop an event strategy that supports business goals
Create high-touch events in line with J.P. Morgan Private Bank brand standards
Manage events from start to finish: maintain the calendar, budgets, negotiate with vendors, process invoices, and produce event materials
Oversee onsite staffing including registration, material distribution, AV needs, speaker handling, and vendor coordination
Track RSVPs and analyze ROI
Strategically problem-solve and provide creative solutions
Maintain knowledge of Southern California venues and identify emerging locations
Collaborate with JPMorgan Chase lines of business to consolidate ideas, share resources, and cross-sell event opportunities
Participate in weekly regional team meetings, budget calls, and banker meetings with event updates
Required Qualifications
6+ years of event-management experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Willingness to work early/morning, late evening, and travel as needed
Strong prioritization and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in financial services
