Required:

• Valid New York State HHA or PCA Certificate a must


• 2 forms of ID


• Recent physical from your doctor


• Speak and understand Spanish

The Role:

• Reliable, Compassionate and Caring.


• Light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, bathing, dressing, grooming.


• Following the care plan provided by the agency which may include helping patient with daily functions such as dressing or taking bath


• Maintaining Daily Time-Sheets and reporting to nurses if there is a change in the patients health status


• Scheduling doctors appointments if requested by the client.

Qualifications:
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures
- Ability to lift and move patients safely

- Experience using phone device to clock in and out
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to caregiving

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.10 an hour

Expected hours: 24 - 48 hours
