Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, First Shift 7:00 am-3:30 pm

Pay Rate: $21/hr + bonus (Depending on experience)

Location: Akron, OH 44314

Experience: 1-2 years Welding Technician and Programming experience

Job Duties:

• Programming, setups and calibration of projection weld machines and robotic welding arms
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of issues with machines
• Replacement of parts, tools and equipment
• Operating machines to perform test runs and performing quality checks for example: torque tests and push / destruct tests
• Performing tasks that include but aren't limited to general labor, machine operation, rework, Mig welding and shipping receiving
• Successful candidates must be willing to lend a hand when needed and must be open to cross training

Required Skills:

• Blueprint reading
• Mig Hand welding experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of welding codes
• Knowledge of machine programming and setups
• Ability to operate forklift as needed
• Experience with Lincoln Electric, Motoman or Yaskawa welding machines

Physical Requirements:

• Work stationary performing repetitive tasks
• Able to stand for entire shift duration
• Manual dexterity and efficiency in high volume environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $21.00 - $32.00
