Role Overview
Our healthcare client is seeking an Event Coordinator to support their 44th Annual Event Program! This is a freelance contract role that begins part-time and ramps to 40 hrs/wk over the course of the engagement.
The role is hybrid, with required onsite support for key event dates.
Reporting to the Peer-to-Peer Manager, the Event Coordinator will support participant engagement, customer service, and logistical execution for the annual program. This role provides critical support to the internal events team and plays a key role in delivering a strong participant and donor experience.
Key Responsibilities
Participant Engagement and Fundraising
Serve as the primary point of contact for participants and donors via email and phone
Support engagement and fundraising activities through direct outreach and events
Manage offline gift entry and donation support
Assist with the training and support of event interns
Golf Program Coordination
Support golf program logistics and committee coordination
Conduct captain outreach and track fundraising minimums
Assist with coordination of the golf auction
Event Production and Logistics
Provide general logistical and onsite support for event execution
Support weekend and on-site event needs on required dates
Ideal Experience
Experience with events, customer service, and/or data management
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
