Leigh & Co. Events – Lead Wedding Coordinator Leigh & Co. Events is a fast-growing wedding planning company based throughout the entire United States – we are looking for planners in Boston, Springfield & Cape Cod . We provide wedding design, coordination and planning services for engaged couples. The Lead Wedding Coordinator position is an exciting opportunity for those looking to be a wedding planner. This is a contract role and you can pick your own schedule! Training is provided. Pay ranges from $25‑$35 per hour and is paid per project. We’re looking for individuals to join for our 2026 season and beyond.
Responsibilities Create wedding timelines for couples
Advocate for the couple, keeping them calm under pressure and assisting with any issues that arise throughout the day
Oversee ceremony & reception set‑up
Execute all day‑of operations for the wedding, which includes being at the venue from the very beginning of the morning through tear‑down at the end of the night
Greet and direct all vendors
Communicate with all vendors regarding set‑ups
Set up seating cards, menu cards, table numbers, favors, guest book and other decor
Assist the wedding party and family with any needs, questions or concerns
Ensure end‑of‑event arrangements are made for gifts, guest book, toasting flutes, etc.
Requirements Must be able to work weekends (essential)
Minimum 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner
Strong communication skills and detail‑oriented
Reliable transportation
Ability to carry and lift 30 lbs
