A high-growth strategic and financial communications advisory firm is seeking an Associate to join its team in either New York or Los Angeles .
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career communications professional with at least 1 year of agency experience in strategic, financial, or corporate communications who is looking to deepen their exposure to high-stakes special situations, crisis, litigation, M&A, transactions, and reputation work.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, brings strong writing and research skills, and is eager to work alongside senior leaders on matters where precision, responsiveness, and judgment are critical.
What you’ll work on Drafting key messaging, talking points, Q&As, press releases, and executive communications
Media and stakeholder monitoring across active client situations
Research and analysis tied to crisis, litigation, M&A, and investor-related matters
Competitive intelligence, media scans, and issue tracking
Supporting senior team members on complex client engagements
Participating in client calls, internal strategy sessions, and real-time response work
Ideal background At least 1 year of experience in strategic or financial communications at an agency is required
Exposure to corporate reputation, crisis, litigation, investor relations, M&A, or other special situations work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple fast-moving priorities simultaneously
Excited by a collaborative, high-accountability, team-oriented culture
