At Forbo Eurocol, you will play a key role in accelerating our global expansion and strengthening our presence beyond the Netherlands and Germany.
Export Manager (Business Development Manager) Your Role As Export Manager, you drive Forbo Eurocol’s growth in international markets by strengthening existing client relationships and developing new commercial opportunities in selected export regions. Your focus includes both Eurocol NL and Eurocol DE markets.
You act as a connector between partners, distributors, key accounts, and internal Forbo teams—translating market insights into concrete commercial success.
What You Will Do Develop and implement international growth strategies for Eurocol’s floor and tile installation products.
Identify, approach, and onboard new customers and distributors abroad.
Re-engage former or inactive clients and explore new business opportunities.
Create partnership agreements and long-term cooperation frameworks.
Collaborate closely with Forbo Flooring and other divisions to enable cross‑selling and joint offerings (focus regions include the Baltics, CZ/SK, and Balkan areas).
Analyze market trends, competitor developments, and customer needs, translating insights into concrete commercial action plans.
Represent Forbo Eurocol at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer visits.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and sales reports and support strong go‑to‑market execution.
Work with Product Management, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure full commercial alignment.
You report to the Sales Director Forbo Eurocol NL, with a dotted line to the General Manager Forbo Eurocol DE.
What You Bring Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, or a comparable field.
1–3 years of international sales or business development experience.
Experience in construction, flooring, or building materials is a plus.
Proven ability in opening new markets and acquiring key accounts.
Experience working in an international or matrix organisation is an advantage.
Strategic thinker with strong commercial drive.
Excellent relationship builder with strong networking skills.
Skilled communicator and negotiator.
Comfortable working independently, proactively, and results‑oriented.
Culturally sensitive and confident in international environments.
Fluent in Dutch and English (additional languages are an asset).
Willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
