OBGYN Generalist and Laborist

Join a busy private and well-established group of 10 FT OB/GYN physicians, 6 CNMs, and 2 APRNs located in North Central CT within minutes of Hartford, 1.5 hrs from Boston, and a little over 2 hours from NYC. 7 of the physicians do OB, and there is a lot of flexibility, and they have a great lifestyle-friendly call of 1:8 call ( averaging 3X monthly) with post-call day off and a 4-day work week!
They are also looking to add a FT Laborist in their practice who will take 7-8 calls monthly. Most providers do stay in the hospital when on call, but if quiet, they often go home, and the CNM will call them in if they are needed. The group does a good mix of OB and GYN (they are about a 40/60 OB to GYN ratio), and they average 600 deliveries per year. They see an average of 20-25 patients daily per provider and usually spend 20 minutes for an OB visit and 40 minutes for a new patient. They work out of 4 offices, and their main office is fully equipped with EMR, a procedure room, a moderate complexity lab, ultrasound, and tech, etc. The hospital has a level IIB nursery and all services in-house, including 2 Robots. They have 6 CNMs in this collaborative practice, and CNMs take the 1st call and do the lion's share of the group's deliveries.
They are looking for a candidate who is a team player, interested in a partnership-track position in a collaborative group practice, who do a nice balance of both OB and GYN. The group scrubs together, they do a lot of MIGS and robotics, and will mentor the new physician. This is a partnership-tracked position with a competitive salary, a robust benefits package, and excellent earning potential.
