Principal/MTS Chemistry Development Engineer, 3D DRAM Wet Etch

As a Principal/MTS Process Development Engineer with a focus on new chemistry develop, you will be part of a revolutionary 3D DRAM Technology Development team. The position promises ample opportunity for innovation, collaboration and testing new dimensions in Advanced DRAM. Drive strategic technical and tactical decisions at a project and platform level by contributing to feasibility studies; Key processes for this role will be the development/incorporation of new liquid-based chemicals for selective wet etching, surface prep, and high aspect processing.
Technically Focus

: Have the vision and technical skills to relate technologies and business plans of group and other group’s projects; Crafts alliances with customers.
Regularly drive product planning/roadmap, platform features, and functional area strategy with a focus on scientific fundamentals

10+ years of experience in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or an equivalent field is required.
~ Suitable qualifications include research performed during a PhD along with upwards of 5 years of pertinent professional work. Prior semiconductor industry experience developing specialty chemicals from Lab to Fab through expert subject area knowledge in resolving issues and solving highly complex problems using root-cause or model-based problem solving!
~ Ability to work independently, with minimal direction, prioritizing meeting commitments through project management skills and the exchange of complex information with peers/management.
~ Prior industry experience leading in at least one to two projects with significant cross group interaction that demonstrate the ability to be the prime consultant on specialized projects and programs that drive departmental objectives.
~ Expert-level knowledge in the following: thermodynamics/kinetic factors driving chemical reactions, transport phenomena, fluid dynamics, fundamental characterization of chemical reactions.

Specific emphasis in coding, automation and/or data science.
