ABOUT THE ROLE
The Business Development Coordinator supports sales growth by researching and generating new sales leads, prospecting accounts, following up on trade show leads, and making cold calls to qualify potential customers. This role works closely with Regional Managers by forwarding qualified leads and following established weekly and monthly sales goals. The ideal candidate will be based remotely out of Saginaw or Oscada, MI.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

Internet research to generate potential sales leads

Sales prospecting following up on trade shows leads

Make cold calls to generate or qualify new sales leads

Provide customer service and verification of orders and other duties as assigned

Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required Work Experience: Must have 2 years of verified sales / customer service / office experience OR an Associate’s degree in a related field

Will develop and follow-up on sales leads and forward to Regional Manager for further qualification

Follow sales plan to include weekly and monthly goals

Previous cold calling experience a plus

Professional phone etiquette

Excellent written/verbal communication skills

Accurate and detail oriented with good math skills

Keyboarding skills to include proficiency in Word, Excel, etc.

Work independently on projects

Perform in a team‑oriented atmosphere

Work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
