About the team The Sponsorships team drives the success of Roku’s cutting‑edge activations. It handles complex trafficking, quality assurance, and deep troubleshooting of all sponsorship products. The team works across diverse platforms and partners closely with Client Services and Product Marketing to implement new and existing product offerings, delivering brand experiences that meet customer objectives and delight users.
About the role Roku seeks an Ad Operations Associate to support the launch and delivery of campaigns while ensuring compliance with standard processes and quality assurance practices. The role is highly cross‑functional, using a mix of third‑party and proprietary platforms to traffic customized, complex executions that drive user engagement across the Roku ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter, thrives in fast‑paced environments, and is eager to grow technically within the organization.
What you’ll be doing Build and launch custom ad experiences using proprietary toolsets and technical systems
Act as a liaison between Brand Activation Managers, Client Services, Product, Engineering, and Technical Operations teams using clear communication
Steward discussions with Client Services and Brand Activation Managers to ensure seamless campaign launches
Contribute ideas to enhance proprietary tools and systems to improve productivity and team effectiveness
Collaborate with Senior Ad Operations peers to support rollout of Custom Ad Experiences and new Ad Products
Manage launch and QA of high‑profile, time‑sensitive campaign launches
Use third‑party tools to verify creatives in ad servers meet specifications
Consult with Product Managers and Engineering to determine technical feasibility of new launch tactics
Identify and escalate technical issues for investigation proactively
We’re excited if you have 2‑3 years of experience in digital ad operations or QA at a publisher, ad tech company, agency, or network
Expertise with GAM and digital ad serving tools for video and display
Experience in display and video advertising with a premium publisher or agency
Strong organization, attention to detail, and time‑management skills
Familiarity with Salesforce
Inquisitive, proactive, and process‑oriented with experience adhering to standards
Ambitious self‑starter who enjoys challenges and continuous learning
Understanding of digital advertising campaign management, including strategies, tactics, and execution (ad serving and pixels)
Analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot setup and delivery challenges
Creative problem‑solving ability in an emerging technology company
Hybrid Work Approach Teams work in the office Monday through Thursday. Fridays are flexible for remote work except for roles required to be in the office five days a week or those in offices with a five‑day in‑office policy.
