FOX Sports is looking for a Freelance Graphics Operator during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Freelance Graphics Operator supports studio‑based programming, helping bring FOX Sports Digital’s coverage to life through clean, accurate, and engaging on‑screen graphics that complement live studio discussions and social storytelling.
Working closely with digital producers and technical operations staff, the Freelance Graphics Operator supports real‑time graphics execution with a strong social lean. The ideal candidate has a sharp editorial eye, excellent grammar, and a deep understanding of soccer, allowing them to translate live conversations and moments into clear, compelling visual storytelling.
This is a hands‑on, execution‑heavy role built for someone who thrives in fast‑moving studio environments and is comfortable working non‑traditional hours.
Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities
Operate and execute graphics for live studio shows
Build, update, and publish graphics that support live analysis, highlights, breaking news, and key talking points
Ensure all on‑screen text is accurate, grammatically correct, and aligned with FOX Sports editorial standards
Collaborate closely with digital producers and social teams to align studio graphics with broader social and digital storytelling
Monitor live matches and studio conversations to anticipate graphic needs and react quickly to developing moments
Update templates and visuals in real time to reflect scores, lineups, stats, and storylines
What You Will Need
1+ years of experience in broadcast or digital graphics, live production, or studio operations
Strong proficiency in Tagboard; experience with similar programs is acceptable
Excellent written skills with a strong attention to grammar, spelling, and editorial accuracy
Strong knowledge of soccer, including leagues, players, teams, competitions, and match flow
Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to stay calm under pressure
Comfort working in live studio environments with tight deadlines and constant communication
Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and variable hours based on show and match schedules
