With our industry-leading property management solution , we’re enabling the world’s most revolutionary hospitality brands to accelerate their digital transformation.
We’re on the lookout for ambitious, tenacious and passionate people who want to join the next generation of innovators and disrupt the hospitality industry with us. Sound good so far? Keep reading and tumble down the Mews rabbit hole...
About the role First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distill it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:
A lot of Business Development Manager roles are about stepping into something that already exists and keeping it moving. This one is a little different.
You’ll be joining Talia’s North American BD team at an exciting stage of growth. We have the team, the market opportunity, and strong momentum, but we are still building a more consistent and scalable outbound playbook. That is a big part of where this role comes in.Your focus will be to help shape that playbook and then lead the coaching, pipeline generation, and performance of a team of 6 to 8 BDRs and SDRs across the East Coast. This is a people leadership role. You won’t carry an individual quota. Instead, you’ll be responsible for creating the environment, structure, and support that helps the team deliver.
✅Your mission, should you choose to accept it: The team
Lead the day-to-day performance of 4 BDRs and 2 SDRs, with 2 more hires planned. You’ll create clarity, build trust, and help people perform at their best through strong coaching, clear expectations, and consistent support.
The playbook
We already have some good foundations in place, but there is still work to do to build a more repeatable and scalable outbound motion. You’ll help shape that across areas like messaging, sequences, objection handling, qualification, and day-to-day execution.
The pipeline
BDRs are focused on outbound pipeline generation. SDRs are focused on inbound speed-to-lead. Both are working toward the same goal: qualified meetings booked. This role will be responsible for building the structure and rhythm that supports those outcomes.
The tech stack
Gong, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn all play an important role in how the team works. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable using these tools, improving adoption, and helping the team get more value from them through coaching and guidance.
The data
CRM hygiene, SLA management, forecasting accuracy, and weekly reporting all matter here. Strong operational habits are an important part of helping the team perform consistently.
What success looks like in this role:
At 30 days
You understand the product, the team, and where the biggest opportunities are. You’ve started to build relationships, identified a few quick wins, and begun to improve the team’s rhythm.
At 60 days
A first version of the playbook is in place. Your 1:1 cadence is working well. Expectations feel clearer, coaching is more consistent, and the team can feel the difference.
At 6-12 months
Pipeline generation is more consistent and performance is stronger. Reps are developing well, team stability is healthy, and the function is operating with more confidence, structure, and clarity.
You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you You’ve built things before, not just maintained them
You’ve helped create playbooks, improved underperforming areas, and supported teams through change in a practical and thoughtful way.
You use data well
You’re comfortable with funnel metrics, leading indicators, and using data to understand where support or changes are needed.
You’re confident with tools
You’ve used tools like Gong, Salesforce, and ZoomInfo in a meaningful way, and you know how to help others use them more effectively too.
You’ve managed BDR or SDR teams before
You’ve hired, developed, and supported people properly, including having honest conversations, creating structure, and helping people grow.
You’re comfortable working in evolving environments
Hospitality tech experience is helpful, but not essential
We’re more interested in how you lead, coach, and build than in having a perfect sector match.
Requirements
3+ years managing BDR or SDR teams in a SaaS or tech environment
A strong track record in pipeline generation and top-of-funnel performance
Confidence with team metrics, coaching, and operational discipline
Based in Dallas, TX, or willing to relocate

You’ll have an open line of communication and an open invitation to after-work drinks, be they virtual or in-person. Sometimes the work can be challenging and there can be a lot of it, but you’ll always be able to rely on those around you.

We believe everyone should have equal access to opportunities and we’re committed to providing an inclusive experience, so please let us know if there’s anything we can do to support you during the application process. We can’t wait to hear from you.
AI and Hiring at Mews At Mews, we believe AI enhances our work but should not replace what humanises it and makes it individually ours. We see AI as a tool to support research, generate ideas, and drive efficiency, but creativity, critical thinking, and opinions differentiate us. As you apply, feel free to use AI to help structure your thoughts — but ensure your application and conversations with us, reflect your personal opinions, capabilities and experience. We’re building an AI-enabled workforce, and that starts with people who think independently and bring fresh ideas to the table. Because at Mews, making work more human is the ultimate goal
