LLM Strategy & Scientific Content Specialist

Medasource, Denver, CO, United States

LLM Strategy & Scientific Content Specialist
Role Overview -
The LLM Strategy & Scientific Content Specialist is a forward-looking role designed to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and the evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence. As Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini become the primary "search engines" for healthcare questions, this role ensures the health system’s clinical authority is the preferred source of truth. You will be responsible for authoring high-quality, scientifically accurate, yet accessible content regarding treatments and conditions. Your goal is to create the "definitive answer" for basic healthcare queries, optimized specifically to be ingested and cited by AI models, ultimately driving patient volume to the health system's specific service lines.

Key Responsibilities -

AI-Optimized Content Creation : Write and curate a library of "Primer" articles (e.g., What is an MRI?, Managing Type 2 Diabetes) using a structure that LLMs can easily parse, summarize, and attribute.

Scientific Translation : Distill complex clinical protocols and medical jargon into empathetic, "high-level" prose (6th–8th grade reading level) that the average person can easily digest.

Structured Data Management : Collaborate with the technical team to ensure content is wrapped in appropriate Schema.org markup (HowTo, FAQ, and MedicalEntity) to increase "crawlability."

Conversion Integration : Strategically embed natural "Next Step" prompts within content to transition an informational search into a clinical action (e.g., booking a consultation).

Continuous Monitoring : Track how major LLMs respond to core healthcare queries and adjust content strategy to ensure our health system remains a cited authority.

Qualifications -

Experience : 5+ years in scientific writing, medical communications, or healthcare content marketing.

Education : Master's degree in Biology, Anatomy, Communications, English, or a related field. A background in clinical settings or health literacy is a significant plus.

Skillset : Exceptional ability to simplify complex topics without losing clinical accuracy.

Technical Savvy : Understanding of SEO and an interest in how AI models retrieve and rank information.
