Business Development Manager - Architectural Solutions

The Business Development Manager – Architectural Solutions is responsible for driving specification growth and market adoption of our wall products and casework solutions. This role serves as a subject matter expert, partnering closely with architects, designers, and general contractors to position our products as the preferred choice across commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, and design firms to secure product specifications.

Act as a technical and product knowledge expert on all wall systems and casework offerings.

Collaborate with internal teams including sales, project management, and operations to ensure seamless execution from specification through installation.

Engage with general contractors (GCs) to support project success, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and product integration.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the architectural and construction community.

Lead product presentations, lunch-and-learns, and training sessions for design and construction professionals.

Track and manage project pipelines, maintaining visibility into upcoming opportunities and key stakeholders.

Provide market feedback to inform product development, pricing strategy, and competitive positioning.

Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in business development, specification sales, or account management within the architectural, construction, or commercial interiors industry.

Strong understanding of wall systems, casework, or related architectural products.

Demonstrated success working with architects, designers, and general contractors.

Knowledge of the construction process, including project lifecycle and stakeholder roles.

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
