RESONSIBILITIES

Technical Responsibilities

• Able to assist in all types of surveys, including, but not limited to, construction staking, As-Builts, ALTA topographic, boundary, laser scanning, drone work and subdivision surveys


• Able to read and write stakes accurately and legibly


• Ensures accuracy of all staking points and calculations


• Assists with duties as assigned by the Party Chief or Project Manager
  


• Ensures the survey equipment and truck are properly maintained, stocked, and organized for daily use.


• Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

• 1-3 years previous Surveying experience


• Knowledge of survey practices and procedures


• Fundamental knowledge of mathematics, geometry and trigonometry and appropriate software to perform these functions.


• Familiar with relevant equipment such as Trimble Robotic Total Station, digital and conventional levels, Trimble 3D scanners, and related software applications.


• General knowledge of computers, Microsoft office, internet, One-Drive, etc.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Interacting with technology (computer, cellphone, etc.)


• Ability to lift and/or carry items up to 20 lbs.


• Occasional travel - driving or flying - to offices, jobsites, client meetings, etc.


• Prolonged periods of standing/walking outdoors


• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (field crew only)
