Athletic Communications Assistant (Summer 2026 900862)

The Athletic Communications Assistant will work with the Director of Athletic Communications. The student will work office hours and help with preparation for competitions, management of statistics, research and updating records and archives, maintaining the athletics’ website and identifying photos from competitions. This person may also assist with statistics and social media at competitions.
This is a Middlebury student Level C position paying $15.40 per hour.
Core Responsibilities
Provides assistance in maintaining athletics’ website
Assists in researching and updating the archives and records
Preparation of game programs, including gathering rosters, statistics and any other information pertinent to that particular contest
Identifies and uploads photos from competitions
Helps with statistics, social media and photography at home competitions as needed
Position Prerequisites
Background and solid knowledge of several sports is a must. Prior knowledge playing or keeping the book/stats for sports such as field hockey, soccer, volleyball, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, baseball/softball is helpful. Creative services skills (photography, graphic design and social media) is preferred.
