Responsibilities
Assist in managing all aspects of a building’s occupancy and maintenance.
Build relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members, ensuring satisfaction and success.
Collaborate with property management team to produce advertising materials to attract new tenants.
Meet with prospective tenants to show properties, conduct interviews, receive rental applications and explain terms of occupancy.
Place advertising that has been approved by the Manager, online or in print, when directed by supervisor.
Process applications and conduct credit checks.
Approve invoices for payments.
Communicate professionally with tenants regarding property-related issues.
Collect, process, and maintain records of rent payments and rental activity.
Comply with anti-discrimination laws with regard to housing, renting and advertising.
Be responsible for income recertification, leasing and re-leasing property.
Assist with income recertification, leasing and re-leasing property.
Prepare monthly calendars and newsletters for distribution to the residents.
Produce and distribute appropriate notices for non-payment of rent timely and within regulations.
Conduct weekly inspection of the property and prepare a summary report of the property activity, conditions observed and traffic.
Conduct apartment inspections upon move out to complete the statement of deposit within the state set timelines.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of LIHTC regulations, income limits, and compliance rules. - Required
Minimum of two years of property management experience - Required
Knowledge of Property Management software: Yardi - Preferred
Knowledge of affordable housing/government programs
Must have excellent computer skills as well as proficiency in the following software programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented and highly organized
Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Property: Radcliffe Place (135 units)
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am to 5pm
