Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the redesign and sustaining of an existing, high-impact consumer product used in premium hospitality environments. This role will own end-to-end activities including obsolete component replacement, PCB updates, testing, and production release.
Key Responsibilities Lead product redesign from obsolete component identification to production implementation
Act as technical lead across engineering, quality, manufacturing, and operations teams
Identify and qualify alternate electrical components based on existing designs
Evaluate required updates to PCB, schematics, firmware, or software
Develop qualification plans and execute testing strategies
Perform electrical and environmental testing (lab + compliance)
Analyze test results and communicate risks/recommendations
Update BOMs and support manufacturing implementation
Support early production runs and gather plant feedback
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
10+ years of electrical engineering experience
Strong experience in product redesign / sustaining engineering
Solid understanding of schematics and PCB design
Hands‑on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power meters, etc.)
Experience with testing and validation
Strong cross‑functional communication skills
Preferred Qualifications Experience with 120–277V lighting or building control systems
Familiarity with Altium Designer, PSpice
Experience with component lifecycle tools (e.g., Silicon Expert)
Basic knowledge of firmware/software (C#, VB, Python)
