Andrews & Higgins is a leader in pharmaceutical, medical device, dietary supplement, and sexual abuse litigation prosecuting lawsuits in State and Federal District Courts. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented
Legal Receptionist
with excellent client service skills to join our team! We are looking to fill this role immediately.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Act as first point of contact for the firm by greeting and checking in clients at the front desk
Answer and route all incoming calls, provide detailed case updates and forward messages to the corresponding legal teams
Review, sort, scan and distribute incoming & outgoing mail
Organize and maintain a large volume of e-documents and case records
Collaborate on time sensitive legal research projects and report status updates in weekly team meetings
Draft, proofread, and format pleadings & other legal documents
Follow up with clients and assist in case building outreach
Oversee organization and cleanliness of communal office and meeting spaces
Required Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong work ethic and high-level attention to detail
Ability to work in fast-paced environment with rolling deadlines
Strong organizational, analytical and proactive problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple workloads
Must be a team player and able to assist in special projects as needed
Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
Must be able to adhere to all internal firm policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS degree
Microsoft Office Suite: 4 years (emphasis on Outlook, Word and Excel)
Adobe Acrobat: 2 Years
Ability to work Monday - Friday (business hours of 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
