The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary
The Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center (HICCC) is seeking to hire a NonStudent Short-Term Casual employee to support education and training programs through administrative and programmatic coordination.
Responsibilities
Provide program support for YES in THE HEIGHTS, a hands-on summer research internship for high school and undergraduate students, including office hours coverage and event coordination.
Support SEM, a month-long virtual Scientific Enrichment Program held in July with approximately 800 participants, including managing Zoom rooms, preparing materials, and monitoring a shared inbox.
Support weekly, in-person Journal Club sessions for summer interns by coordinating logistics, setting up technology, and tracking attendance.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.
Minimum Qualifications
Enrollment in college or completion of a college degree required.
Other Requirements
Detailed-oriented and ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
