Dallas Hoops Journal is seeking a motivated, Dallas-based intern to join our editorial team. This role is designed for an aspiring journalist or content creator seeking hands‑on experience in the professional sports media landscape.
The Role
Content Creation: Drafting game recaps, news breaks, and analytical features covering the Dallas Mavericks , Dallas Wings , and Texas Legends .
Editorial Support: Learning the ropes of SEO-driven sports journalism and digital publishing.
Local Insight: Providing a boots‑on‑the‑ground perspective on the North Texas professional basketball scene.
Compensation & Credit
This is a paid position. Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process based on the candidate's availability, experience level, and output volume.
Academic Credit: We are willing to collaborate with your school or university to ensure this internship meets requirements for class credit.

Requirements
Must be based in the DFW metroplex .
Strong understanding of NBA/WNBA rules and team histories.
