Transportation/Roadway Civil Design Engineering Technician- Experienced - MicroStation (Omaha, NE)
We are looking for a talented Engineering Technician with experience in MicroStation to support design and layout of transportation projects in Nebraska. The successful candidate will produce detailed design plans, contribute to roadway and highway studies, and collaborate closely with project managers and engineers.

Full‑time position located in Omaha, NE. The role requires a self‑starter who can communicate effectively with clients and team members and demonstrates proven technical civil drafting skills.
Work with transportation project managers and project engineers to support drafting, design, plan preparation, and specifications
Contribute to transportation studies, design, construction, start‑up, and project forecasts
Perform CADD functions and facilitate CADD or design functions for all the above using MicroStation
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office
Five years’ experience in civil engineering technical drafting
Demonstrated experience with MicroStation
Ability to effectively work independently under tight deadlines
Demonstrated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate and/or Associate’s Degree in Drafting Technology, Land Surveying or related field
Nine or more years’ experience in civil engineering technical drafting
Demonstrated experience in OpenRoads software
