As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Youth Services Programming Librarian.

Position Overview
This is a Full-Time, Salaried/Exempt Position - Schedule: 37.5 hours a week, in person, with one evening a week, and weekend availability. This individual reports to our Youth Services Manager.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive programming schedule for children ages birth through middle school and their families in collaboration with other youth staff.

Collaborate with library staff, community partners, and local schools to deliver a wide variety of programs that promote literacy, STEAM education, digital literacy, and creative expression.

Create and lead interactive and hands‑on activities for youth and their families; guide other staff in the development of original programs.

Research, contact, and negotiate with outside program presenters.

Education and Experience
Master’s degree from accredited library school; AND three (3) years of experience working with children in a library or educational setting.

Salary
$46,824 minimum - $62,431 midpoint - $78,039 maximum; offers are generally made within the minimum to the midpoint range depending on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
