JOB TITLE: Asset Librarian (Content Supply Chain)
LOCATION: Remote (Preferably Pacific Time)
PAY RANGE: $60 - $70/hr
DURATION: 7 Months

Overview
The Marketing Content Asset Librarian provides operational support for design components and asset management activities across all stages of the Content Supply Chain (GenStudio), focused on Workfront and Experience Manager Assets (AEM). This role, in conjunction with automation and AI, forms the operational backbone of the content supply chain, ensuring marketing assets are properly cataloged, searchable, compliant, and reusable throughout the content lifecycle from creative work in progress (WIP) through final asset/content storage management, distribution, and archive—without duplication, brand and compliance issues, findability issues, or workflow friction.

This role works under the direction of the Head of Content Supply Chain (GenStudio).

Key Responsibilities

Component & Asset Management

Apply predefined metadata schemas, naming conventions, and scalable folder structures across the content lifecycle—including creative work in progress (WIP), reusable design components, and final assets/content for distribution.

Perform bulk uploads and routine maintenance tasks to prevent duplication and content sprawl.

Archive, update, and retire components, assets/contents according to documented lifecycle guidelines.

Support discoverability by ensuring accuracy and completeness of metadata tagging.

Assist internal teams and agency partners with day-to-day asset needs.

Governance & Compliance Support

Apply established governance rules related to branding, licensing, local regulatory compliance, and technology requirements as relates to marketing assets.

Perform asset audits and raise taxonomy, metadata, and tagging structure issues.

Flag potential issues or operational inconsistencies for review.

Required Experience & Skills

Hands-on experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Assets).

Working knowledge of Workfront or similar project/work management tools.

Familiarity with marketing or creative workflows and content lifecycles.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established standards and processes.

Ability to manage multiple operational tasks and requests in a fast-paced environment.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Comfort working cross-functionally with guidance and defined priorities.

Contract Scope & Level Expectations

Executes clearly defined tasks and workflows under the direction of team leads.

Does not independently define DAM strategy, governance frameworks, or platform architecture.

Does not represent in cross-organizational decision-making forums.

Provides operational support and feedback, but final decisions remain with employees.

Engagement is focused on execution, delivery, and maintenance, not long-term ownership.
