Valid Illinois PEL with Library Information Specialist Endorsement

Secondary Teaching Endorsement

English Language Arts Endorsement

Desired Experience or Training:

Master's Degree

Previous high school teaching experience

Required:

Able to use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Experience working as a Librarian

Experience tutoring students in a one-on-one small group setting

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
INSTRUCTIONAL METHOD

Teach to prescribed outcomes and goals

Use instructional methods that improve student achievement

Assign and evaluate appropriate student work

Involve students in learning

Make effective use of entire class period

Use appropriate school support and resource materials

Convey to students learning goals and the importance of material learned

Be clear in explanations and directions

Selection Process:

Interviews of selected qualified applicants will be conducted, and a qualified candidate will be recommended by the hiring supervisor to the Office of Human Resources.
