What You'll Do
As a Nurse Manager at St. Mary's, you'll provide professional nursing leadership grounded in the nursing process and established standards of practice. You'll oversee daily operations, staffing, safety, and staff development to ensure exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities include:
Assessing and providing appropriate staffing based on departmental demand using tools to measure, track, and report processes
Measured through productivity and management documentation
Prioritizing employee safety and ensuring compliance with OSHA, Infection Control, and Environment of Care standards
Measured through safety rounds, staff knowledge, and workers' compensation trends
Managing hiring processes, ensuring timely interviews and candidate selection
Measured by vacancy rate and timetofill
Providing timely feedback to new hires through 90day evaluations and completing annual performance reviews
Measured by 100% ontime completion
Assessing staff educational needs and developing structures to enhance knowledge, skills, and competencies
Measured through competency documentation and education plans
Practicing nursing according to established standards and modeling St. Mary's mission, vision, and values in all interactions

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Current RN licensure
in the State of Oklahoma required
BSN
required;
MSN preferred
Minimum
one year of full
time acute care nursing
experience
BLS
required
ACLS
required within three (3) months of employment
Strong written and oral communication skills
Basic computer skills required
