Electrical Design Engineer

Responsible for the design, development, alteration, or modification of enclosure drawings and
electrical systems as assigned by the department manager.

Responsibilities
Prepares a wide variety of detailed drawings for the enclosures and electrical design and is responsible for their accuracy.
Breaks down information obtained from the bid letter, customer specification, and customer supplied drawings to do shelter design.
Makes a variety of calculations (AC service, HVAC, energy, and structural, etc.) following standard procedures.
Prepare work orders while drawings are in progress.
Contributes on projects of high complexity.
Completes projects without supervision.
Assists other designers as needed.
Renders technical assistance to factory personnel, sales staff or customers as needed.
Possible travel as needed.
Performs other assigned duties as required by management
