Job Title: Fluidics Engineer III
Duration: 18+ Months Contract with possible extension
Location: Atlanta, GA
Role Summary
Seeking a Fluidics Engineer III with strong hands-on lab testing experience to design and develop fluidic and thermal systems for foodservice/beverage equipment. The role involves testing, validation, and cross-functional collaboration within a stage-gate development process.
Key Responsibilities
Perform lab and system-level testing to troubleshoot and validate designs
Support DFMEA, DOE, and reliability testing
Design fluidic and thermal mechanical systems
Collaborate with software, electrical, and manufacturing teams
Define requirements and ensure product performance and quality
Use 8D/A3/DMAIC for problem-solving
Create designs using CREO and manage changes in Windchill
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s (ABET) in Mechanical, Aerospace, Biomedical, or Mechatronics Engineering
Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and electromechanical systems
Mandatory: Hands-on laboratory testing experience
Experience with testing, data analysis, and technical documentation
Preferred
Master’s degree
Experience with MATLAB, Python, or LabVIEW
Exposure to embedded systems and stage-gate development
