Process Operator Opportunity in Park Rapids, MN

Doherty Staffing Solutions is currently partnering with a leading supplier in the food industry located in Park Rapids, MN. We are seeking candidates for Process Operator roles. Compensation for these contract opportunities ranges between $25.47- $25.97 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!

What you will do as a Process Operator:

• Operate and maintain processing equipment, including peelers, water knives, preheaters, blanchers, dryers, and fryers
• Adjust machine settings for steam time, batch weight, blanch time, temperature, and fryer oil levels
• Perform upstream processes and add ingredients to the metering system
• Monitor and adjust fry time, temperature, and oil filtration to maintain product quality
• Execute Emergency Shutdown procedures, including equipment stoppage, cooling processes, and restarting operations from E-stop situations
• Clean and maintain blancher screens, water knife systems, and fryer components
• Perform oil transfers and manage fryer content, including unloading and reloading fryer oil
• Monitor and achieve color standards using Brix readings and ensure consistency in product flow from Raw Receiving to freezing

What you need to be a Process Operator:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-3+ months of related experience or training preferred
• Ability to pass all required training evaluations
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
• Willingness to work overtime occasionally
