Job Responsibilities The Mason City Public Library is accepting applications for a full-time Library Assistant I. This position provides clerical support, assists with programming, and works directly with the public at the Circulation Desk. Duties include circulating materials, assisting patrons with the catalog, processing notices, shelving, and more.
Qualifications Requires a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and 2 years of library experience (or equivalent).
Schedule & Hours 40 hrs/week with some evenings and every other Saturday. Days: Mon – Fri, rotating Sat with Fri off. Hours: 40 hrs/wk.
Pay Range $18.37 – $19.44/hr
