North Providence Public Schools is looking for a Library Media Specialist who can partner with teachers and students to promote literacy, information literacy, and digital citizenship.

Job Requirements
Candidates must be certified by the Rhode Island Department of Education as an All Grades Library Media Teacher (Grades PK‑12). Preference will be given to candidates who hold or can demonstrate progress toward an English as a Second Language certification issued by the Rhode Island Department of Education. Please include a cover letter, current resume, and three recent professional letters of reference. If offered a position with North Providence Public Schools, you are required to obtain a national criminal background check with fingerprinting obtained at the State Attorney General’s Office. If your background check is returned and acceptable for employment, you will be asked to return to complete onboarding paperwork to include the "Employment Eligibility Verification, USCIS I‑9" as required by the Department of Homeland Security. Here you will attest to your employment authorization and must also provide acceptable documents evidencing identity and employment authorization.
