CTG is seeking to fill a PDK Library Developer position for our client.
Location: Santa Clara, CA; Burlington, VT; or Malta, NY – Hybrid (50% onsite, 50% remote)
Duration: 12 months
Duties
Create and maintain parameterized cells (PCells) for transistors, passives, and special devices.
Develop and maintain symbols, views, and device parameter definitions for schematic and layout tools.
Support technology files, layer definitions, device parameters, and display attributes.
Execute QA test flows to validate models, PCells, and rule decks across multiple EDA tools.
Implement automated regression testing using Python, SKILL, Tcl, and Jenkins.
Debug customer issues, perform internal bug triage, and conduct cross-component integration checks.
Collaborate with process/device modeling teams to implement accurate SPICE and corner models.
Work with cross-functional teams (DRC/LVS/PERC/PEX/EMIR), silicon design teams, EDA vendors, and QA groups to resolve issues and enhance flows.
Contribute to tool and flow creation by developing scripts and workflows to streamline validation and PDK release processes.
Prepare release notes, design manuals, and documentation packages.
Participate in PDK milestone reviews including Scope Freeze, Code Freeze, and PDK Release.
Skills
Strong knowledge of semiconductor devices and layout methodology.
Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, Custom Compiler, and backend verification tools.
Experience with scripting languages such as SKILL, Python, Tcl, Ruby, Perl, etc.
Familiarity with DRC/LVS/PEX rule development and validation.
Experience
Proven experience in PDK development, device modeling, and EDA tool flows.
Hands‑on experience with automated regression testing and debugging of semiconductor design processes.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000—$85,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
