Description
To provide front line support to Iowa Western Students in the Library.
Job Duties
Assist students with computers and printing
Check out laptops to students
Answer general questions about IWCC
Direct students to appropriate resources
Monitor student traffic in library and maintain a quiet study environment
Qualifications
Current Iowa Western student with at least a 2.5 GPA
Basic knowledge of Library resources and policies.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, ROC, BibliU, Canvas and basic computer functions
Ability to perform multiple tasks while providing excellent customer service
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to address noise concerns with students
Prior to interview, students must provide proof of registration for the upcoming semester.
Physical Demands
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 10lbs
