Position Literature Expert
Type Contract
Compensation $20–$40/hour
Commitment 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities Author realistic literature prompts for textual analysis, thematic interpretation, and genre comparison.
Review and revise AI-generated responses for interpretive depth and cultural nuance.
Write high-quality human-authored “gold” responses for complex literary questions.
Create controlled prompt variations to test subtle differences in genre and narrative perspective.
Evaluate outputs across different tones and instruction constraints.
Identify model failure cases involving misinterpretation or culturally inconsistent readings.
Qualifications Must-Have 2+ years of sustained engagement with literature as a hobby or scholarly pursuit.
Active participation in literary discourse in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi.
Strong familiarity with literary terminology and culturally specific literary movements.
Ability to articulate nuanced textual analysis clearly in the target language.
Strong written communication skills and thoughtful editorial judgment.
