The Multimedia Manager will play a key role in this mission by bringing technical expertise, creative vision, and courtroom-ready execution to a wide range of multimedia initiatives including firm events such as the biennial partner retreat.
Responsibilities Manage and maintain audio-visual (“AV”) systems across firm offices, including conference rooms, event spaces, and remote collaboration platforms.
Provide on-site and remote AV support for strategic meetings, key internal or client-facing events, depositions, and presentations.
Troubleshoot AV equipment, software, and connectivity issues with professionalism and urgency.
Ensure seamless audiovisual delivery, live presentation support and a high-quality professional experience reflective of the firm’s brand.
Ensure consistent branding, professional polish, and legal compliance in all multimedia materials.
Collaborate on the planning and deliver on-site technical support for firm-hosted client events including the biennial offsite partner retreat.
Manage Global Multimedia team, driving initiatives forward to establish cohesive workflows, scalable operations, and a unified strategy across regions.
Maintain video archives and ensure secure handling of sensitive content.
Provide deskside technical support as necessary during heavy usage periods such as new technology implementations or absence of New York onsite technician.
Collaborate with attorneys and litigation support teams to develop compelling courtroom and arbitration presentations.
Qualifications College degree or equivalent IT experience (5+ years) in AV management, multimedia production, or litigation support in legal/law firm environment preferred.
Exemplary customer service skills that focus on our working lawyers and business professionals
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills - both written and oral, a customer service-oriented attitude, a professional phone demeanor and the ability to deal with multiple tasks concurrently.
Excellent organizational skills.
Hands-on experience with AV systems (e.g., Zoom Rooms, Crestron, Zoom Rooms, Extron, Polycom).
Proficiency with video production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Camtasia, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
Flexibility to travel, willingness to work overtime or on-call support as trial schedules dictate.
Measures of Success Firm meetings, client events, and the biennial partner retreat are executed without technical disruption and reflect a polished, professional experience.
Audiovisual systems across conference rooms and event spaces operate reliably with minimal downtime.
Event stakeholders (partners, marketing, executive leadership) report high satisfaction with preparation, responsiveness, and on-site support.
Technical issues are resolved quickly and proactively, minimizing impact to attorneys, clients, and firm leadership.
Multimedia environments are well-documented, standardized, and continuously improved to support evolving firm needs.
