Role Description
Part-time and Full-time position available in Orlando, FL, for a Certified Music Therapist. The role involves assessing and developing customized music therapy plans for pediatric clients, delivering engaging music-based therapeutic sessions, and documenting treatment progress. The therapist will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team that includes occupational, speech, physical, and behavioral therapists to provide family-centered care for children with unique developmental and therapeutic needs.
Qualifications
Expertise in Music Therapy and proficiency in playing various musical instruments
Experience providing therapeutic treatment for children with developmental disabilities and mental health needs
Ability to design and adapt music-based intervention plans aligned with therapeutic goals
Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for working with children and families
Experience collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams to achieve client goals
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy, with a certification from an accredited program (MT-BC)
Prior experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting is preferred but not required
Creative and energetic
Strong professional ethics and self-discipline
